Ahoj! I’m Steven, originally from Scotland, but for more than 15 years I’ve called the South Moravia region of Czechia my home.

I first came here in 2008 to work with Monster.com, where I built a career in Customer Success & Service Operations, overseeing Global Support teams from our centralized Center of Excellence in Brno. Along the way, I met my wife, we had two children, and I discovered a deep love for this region — its vineyards, outdoor activities, and quiet beauty.

Cycling became part of that story and developed into my go to sport. The established safe cycling routes, peaceful river paths, and warm hospitality of South Moravia drew me in, and after being inspired by a cycling holiday in Mallorca, I realised I could combine my passion for riding with my professional background in Customer Service to provide exceptional experiences for cyclists visiting South Moravia.

I initially decided to add more structure to my group rides with friends by creating a cycling club in Brno and founded the Moravia Social Cycling Club, building a community and developing routes for the Club to cycle on each week. I then took it one step further by planning and guiding ad hoc tours for contacts made through my cycling network. What began as a hobby and friendly support for my network had become the early stages of this exciting new story. And well, here we are... on a mission to create experiences that help the world discover the beauty and joy in this region.

Moravia Bike Tours is built on that combination — the reliability and attention to detail from my corporate career, my love for Czechia and cycling, and the local knowledge that comes from the thousands of kilometres I've cycled in this region. Every route, every café stop, every vineyard, every viewpoint is chosen with care, so you can simply ride, take in the scenery, and enjoy an experience you might never have considered — but I am sure will never forget.
